Gary is a native of Savannah, GA. He is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA and is currently pursuing a degree in Marketing Management. He is a member of Zerubbabel Lodge #15, F. & A.M., The Scottish Rite Consistory-Valley of Savannah and the Alee Shrine, where he is a member of the Oriental Band, a Past State Master Councilor of Georgia DeMolay, and an Advisor for Cecil Cheves DeMolay Chapter. He is also a member of Edgar Mole Chapter #239, Order of the Eastern Star in Hardeeville, SC and a Past Worthy Patron of Bethlehem Chapter #269. Gary's professional memberships include the National Funeral Directors Association, Georgia Funeral Directors Association, and the Academy of Graduate Embalmers. Gary is married to Crystal Bryan Vinson and together they have two sons, Tommy and Bryan.
David "Davey" McGill was born and raised in Ridgeland, SC. He graduated from Thomas Heyward Academy in 1984. He has been working with Sauls Funeral Home since 1994 as a funeral assistant. He and his wife Barbara Ann are members of Great Swamp Baptist Church where he serves as a Deacon. He enjoys playing golf in his spare time and collecting watches.
Brenda Thomas Reiser is a part time employee of Sauls Funeral Home. Brenda was born in Ridgeland and lived in Columbia, South Carolina for 25 years before retiring and moving back "home" to Ridgeland. Brenda is an avid gardener and travels to Texas and Louisiana every chance she gets to visit with her two grandsons. Brenda is a granddaughter of Martin Sauls I and is very proud and delighted to be a member of the staff at Sauls Funeral Home. As a child, Brenda fondly remembers hearing her Uncle Martin (Martin Sauls Jr.) tell stories of her family.
Macy, Emma, and Shaffer Sauls are hopefully our next generation of funeral directors. In the meantime, Macy and Emma enjoy attending school and spending time on the river. Shaffer enjoys playing with his sisters and driving the boat with his dad.
Ryan Speegle is originally from Marietta, Georgia and has lived in the Lowcountry since 1999. He has been working as a Funeral Assistant with Sauls Funeral Home since 2011. He and his wife Meagan currently live in Beaufort, SC with their two sons, Trey and Seth. Ryan enjoys boating and being on the water in his spare time.
Brandon Mingledorff is a native of Ridgeland. He graduated from Thomas Heyward Academy in 2013. Brandon is married to Stevi Pounder Mingledorff and together they have a son named Jase. He enjoys being a volunteer firefighter with the Ridgeland Fire Department when not working with Sauls.
Alex Wolchick was born in Greenwich, Connecticut. He was raised in Stratford, Connecticut where he attended and graduated from Bunnell High School in 2007. He relocated to Ridgeland, South Carolina in 2011 and began his employment with Sauls Funeral Home shortly thereafter. His hobbies include building cars and motorcycles.
Kathryn Crosby is a part-time employee of Sauls Funeral Home, pursuing a degree in Communication Science and Disorders at Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA. She is a graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy and a Ridgeland native. Kathryn is a great-niece to Martin Sauls III and takes joy in being a member of the Sauls Funeral Home staff. Kathryn enjoys reading, kayaking, and spending time with her family.
Melynda is a lifelong resident of the Lowcountry. She grew up on Hilton Head and later moved to Ridgeland. She is a graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy, class of 1982. Melynda enjoys the Lowcountry life relaxing on the beaches of Hilton Head and spending time with family and friends. She began working with Sauls Funeral Home in May, 2015.
Rita Adams serves as the courier for Sauls Funeral Home. Rita is originally from Danville, Kentucky but grew up in Richmond, Kentucky. She moved to South Carolina in 1989. Rita is a member of the Edgar Mole Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the First Presbyterian Church of Hardeeville, South Carolina. She enjoys gardening, painting, and stock-car racing.
