Obituary

Marjorie “Punkin” Carroll Moser, 75, of Ridgeland, SC, wife of William "Billy" Moser, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at her home.

Punkin was born in Ridgeland, SC on November 20, 1943 to Osie and Liggie Carroll. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Ronald C. Gibson and Harry (Brenda) Gooding. In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by one son, Lawton Moser and one daughter, Ginger Stoner. She is also survived by her sisters, Debbie G. Pinckney and Josephine G. Boyles and four grandchildren, Jordan Moser, Drew (Becca) Moser, Saylor Moser, and Blake Stoner.

She loved photography and videography. Punkin took pictures and recorded videos for over 47 years and loved every minute of it. She took pictures for many schools in the area and captured special moments for families throughout Ridgeland. She was a member of Ridgeland Baptist Church and she roamed the streets of Ridgeland from the time she could ride her bicycle until she could drive. Punkin was the head cheerleader for the Ridgeland High Tigers and played basketball under Coach Harold Turpin. She then graduated from Ridgeland High School and married Billy. They would have been married 56 years on March 6, 2018. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed life.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Hwy, Ridgeland. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am until the hour of the service at the church.
