Nathaniel Jeremiah Cameron



Nathaniel Jeremiah Cameron, passed away peacefully in his sleep, June 10th of 2017 at his residence in Palmetto Bluff, Bluffton, South Carolina.

Nathan was born on December 30th of 1975, in Clifton Springs, New York, to Craig and Adele Cameron. As a young man, Nathan learned the trade of homebuilding working alongside his father for several years. In 2002, Nathan moved to the Lowcountry where he quickly started gaining notoriety in the local building community. In June of 2005, Nathan welcomed his first son, Tyler Nathaniel Cameron. Soon after in 2007, Nathan welcomed his second son, Cayden Reese Cameron. With the birth of his sons, Nathan’s vision for his future expanded and in 2010, Nathan opened the doors to Cameron and Cameron Custom Homes.Nathan's two brothers, Eric Cameron and Brent Cameron (Dawn), supporting him in his dream, worked alongside him in different fields in the building community. In the years to follow, he built not only homes, but relationships with everyone who knew him. Nathan was a man of honor and great charm. That charm brought him to wed Julia White-Cameron in the fall of 2015.

Nathan had impeccable work ethic that was profoundly exhibited in his vision for edgy and beautifully built homes. He loved every aspect of what he did and the people that he worked for and with. Nathan was a kind and generous man who gave back to his community every chance he could. Those who knew Nathan, knew of his immense ability to make you feel like family, or like a lifelong friend. His smile resonated and his sincerity made him a lovable and unforgettable man.

A Remembrance of the Life of Nathan Cameron will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Palmetto Bluff along the river, in the park, beneath the trees.
