Suzanne Elizabeth Catterton Bowers, 38, of Ridgeland, SC passed away from us on Mother’s Day morning, May 13, 2018.
Suzanne graduated from Thomas Heyward Academy in 1997 where she made countless friends that she treasured her entire life. Her warm smile and talent for making others laugh was wonderfully infectious and will be missed by all who knew her.
Suzanne enjoyed an enviable career working daily with close friends and family, including her sister and aunt. She had the most energetic, compassionate, and gregarious spirit and was an amazing problem solver. She was considered to be “the glue that held everything together” at work and usually found herself happily solving the most challenging issues.
Suzanne’s best role, however, was that of a devoted mother. She was deservedly proud of their two amazing girls, Abby Grace (14) and Leah Caroline (11), who share their mother’s talents and charisma.
Suzanne is survived by her husband Justin Blaine Bowers, her parents Rodney and Faye Catterton and her brother and sister Rod Catterton (Carrie) and Stephanie Guest (Dr. Keith) and their families and countless friends from childhood.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, May 21, 2018 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd, Bluffton. The family with receive friends from 6:00 pm until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

My heartfelt condolences for your family's loss. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling at this time, but know that she was such a caring, loving and giving person. She was someone I instantly made a friend and am terribly sad to have lost. Praying for comfort and peace as you continue to mourn the loss of such a beautiful person.

Lifting you all up in prayer for peace and comfort. Suzanne was a star, and I know she is shining bright above watching over her girls.
May the Lord guide and bless you all.

I was Suzanne's baby sitter and when she was about 4 years old, Faye had come home from a shopping trip and Suzanne told me it was time for me to go home because her mom was gonna prepare her lunch. I laughed out loud! Always a strong and sassy girl! Miss you terribly my sweet girl. The world is a smaller place.
