Dempsey Carl Parrish, age 35, of Bluffton, SC passed away on February 18, 2018, at his residence.
Dempsey was born in Savannah, Georgia on October 8, 1982 to Rodney Paul Parrish and Juanita Parrish. Dempsey worked at an automotive dealership and then for a pest control company. His occupation and his heart was installing hardwood floors for nine years. He loved Bluffton and was of Christian faith.
Dempsey is survived by his father and mother of Bluffton, SC; his sisters, Trina Parrish of Bluffton and Amanda Parrish Cabandon of San Diego, Ca.; his brother, Jesse Nettles of Easley, SC; and his step-brothers, Mitchell Molpus and Steven Molpus of Richmond Hill, Georgia. He was predeceased by his step-brother, Brian Nettles. He is also survived by his nieces, Leilani and Kamari, nephew, Jacob, and very special cousin, Teresa O’Berry of Adriana, Ga, along with his extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is survived by his close friend, Tricia Poland.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Community Bank, 52 Burnt Church Road, Bluffton, SC, 29910 in Dempsey's name.
