I worked with Margaret at Carswell and we became friends. I loved her and she was so funny. She invited me to her home a couple times. She was the kindest friend anyone could have had. Condolences to the entire family. With love and prayers, Jean Goethe.

To all of the extended Pitts family, adding our condolences and prayers to Michele's earlier message of same. From earlier calmer days on Hilton Head, whether it was popcorn ball fundraising or Disney trips, family ties and growing families, Margaret was a role model for class, civility, and Southern charm. As you know Joe and Dottie would have added their own thoughts and sympathies, please accept all of the List's on their behalf. Perhaps tonight they are all sharing their own remembrances in a grand reunion in a finer place. Mike, Mary, Anna, and Jenny List

Aunt Margaret was a lovely, gracious, proud/poised woman of intelligence and endearing kindness and generosity. We all will miss her but know she is now with her beloved husband, Uncle Harold, and with our Heavenly and Eternal Father.
