They moved to Nanuet New York where she graduated from Nanuet High School in 1962. She attended Mohawk Valley Community College, where she met her husband Richard and graduated in 1964 with an Associates degree in Advertising and Design.

She married Richard on May 1, 1965 at St Anthony Catholic Church in Nanuet, New York, later moving to Enfield, Connecticut. In 1966 her son Michael was born and she chose to stay at home during his adolescence. Linda was a prolific seamstress often making or tailoring clothing for herself or others. Her talents eventually led her to create an interior decorating business that specialized in designing, producing and installing window treatments.

Her joys in life were traveling, cooking, decorating and gardening. She looked forward to long weekend trips and ocean cruises with college and work friends from Connecticut. She was an accomplished cook specializing in Italian and Spanish cuisine, often preparing tapa parties for neighbors and friends including her noted holiday paella dish. She also had an innate ability for house and interior design which is evident the homes that she has had influence on over the past 50 years. Many of those homes were for friends and neighbors who sought her advice and thoughts which she generously gave.

Her unending love for her grandchildren was paramount. She loved having them for a month during the summer on Cape Cod where they went for long walks looking for shells and playing in the water at her favorite local beach. Her more recent joy was seeing her grandson’s graduation from high school and being accepted to Georgia State University.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Richard, son Michael and his wife Melanie and grandson Jonathan and granddaughter Carly of Marietta, Georgia. She also leaves behind a sister, Janet Earle of Rio Ranch, New Mexico and a brother Ronald DeChristoforo of Nanuet, New York in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
