Aunt Bet was such a huge part of my life ever since I can remember. I have so many happy memories of times spent with her and trips she took me/us on. There was never a birthday or holiday that passed without a card/call/gift from her. Her love and devotion to her family was something to be admired. The kindness and love she has given me over the years is something I will never forget and will always be grateful for, as well as the honest and sound advice she always provided. Watching her love my children the beautiful way in which she did made me grow to love Aunt Bet even more. Her phone calls and letters would be directed to the kids and they absolutely loved every second of it! We are so blessed to have known such a beautiful, strong and loving woman. We are so blessed to love and to be loved by someone with a heart as sweet as hers. Love always xoxo

"Aunt Bet", as my brother and I have called her since the 60's, will be so missed. She and "Uncle Mike" were in our lives a lot, as kids. We visited together a few years ago in Myrtle Beach and it was so wonderful to see her. She was always an inspiration with all her work at FEMA, and also just being the strong, determined, independent, and loving lady that she has always been. When we spoke a few weeks ago, she couldn't wait for Anthony's visit and was so excited to see if he'd grown more than 6'4" she said! Betty wrote me a note a few weeks ago, wishing us a Happy Easter but also wrote, in quotes, "Choices we make have to be made not on the basis of wisdom or corectness or respectability, but on the basis of what might be the loving thing to do". I wanted to share that, as she did with me.... God bless you, AB. Love always xoxo

Betty and I met at golf with a group called NAGS (no attitude golf society). We just clicked and I have so many wonderful memories to keep close. Betty was wonderful with my puppy and Casey adored her. We will miss our evening walks with her.
